The main goal of this project is to develop a system that will revolutionize the public transportation and enhance the lives of the general public in Sri Lanka. There will be few aims and objectives in order to obtain the main goal with this proposed system.
- Reduce the amount of time waste at a bus stop
- Making public transportation safe for the passengers by making decisions based on bus running speed and passenger reviews
- Making a friendly environment for the drivers by showing them the buses ahead and behind them within the same route.
- To develop an effective bus transportation service that will make everyone’s lives easier.
To obtain the above-mentioned Aim, we must fulfill several objectives such as,
- Create a module to collect data about real time location and the speed of buses
- Create databases to store the collected data
- Create an Android Application for the passenger to get information about the arrival time of the next bus at the bus halt
- Create an Android Application for the bus driver to get the real time location details of nearest buses and to get the feedback from the passengers
- Create an Android Application for the bus owner to get the real time location details and the speed of registered buses and to get the feedback from the passengers regarding the buses and the drivers
- Develop an AI model to calculate the bus arrival time and evaluate the AI Model.
- Implementation of the Smart bus halt which will display the arrival time of the next bus
